Time commenced 2000hrs at the White Elephant Public House Kingsley Northampton.
Weather dry, cold, outside temperature -2.
The White Elephant Public House stands on a busy corner at the Kingsley side of Northampton's famous racecourse. Once a busy race horse venue, it is now a huge public park that brings some welcomed greenery to the area. The White Elephant was originally a hotel that served the race venue. As it was not used very much in between the race days it was given the name "White Elephant" which has stuck over the years.
We were lucky enough to be invited to the marvellous venue and were made to feel most welcome by the staff. We had the run of the top floor, which has been untouched and unoccupied for many years now. We were also very pleased to have two new people along with us that night, both mediums, so this was an extra special evening for us.
An initial walk around on the floor allowed us to get some base readings, an inside temperature of just 9.4 degree's and surprisingly some wildly fluctuating EMF readings on a floor which has no electricity supply. The only explanation I can give is that there must have still been some live cables running through the floor that still serviced other parts of the building, which did have a supply. We did capture some orbs on this floor on the stills camera's. Just before we started the first séance I had my night vision cam corder switched on but not recording. This was the unfortunate time that a moving orb decided to float across the screen.
Our first seance produced a contact of a male named Henry who we ascertained was a French jockey. We further ascertained that he was ill, which he knew and as a result took his own life in 1845. He also gave us the information that there were 5 spirits in the building. After a while and a prompt from Henry, we went to the corner front room on the top floor and commenced another seance. There we contacted a male spirit by the name of John who died aged 38 in 1765 after being executed.
We then went down a floor to a much warmer room where after a break we commenced another seance. There we made contact with a spirit who was a door keeper who had never lived on the earth plane. He informed us that he was our protector for the night.. We were than prompted to go to the cellar where he warned us about one negative spirit.
In the cellar, we did a seance without the board. This was cut short when a couple of us including myself were overcome by a feeling of nausea and light headedness. This is the first occasion that this has happened to me on these visits. I had no choice but to sit down and sit out whilst I recovered. It got to the point that if I did not sit down I was going to fall down!
After a recovery rest we went into another seance using the board. There we made contact with a spirit of a ten year old. There was a lot of energy in the movement of the glass and it was spinning very fast around the board. We also got some bangs in the cellar that were done to request I did quite a lot of recording on the digital sound recorder, but due to lots of background equipment noise it was very difficult to get any decent sound quality. Also the EMF meter went rather berserk due to the high quantity of electrical equipment in the cellar.
At the end of this we found that the ten year old s spirit wanted moving on to be with the rest of his family. He was then duly moved with our help, led by one of the mediums.
Our very pleasant evening ended at around 11:30pm. Our thanks go to the management and staff at the White Elephant for inviting us along to a most rewarding evening
