The Hind Hotel Wellingborough

We were very happy to be visiting this very famous hotel situated in the centre of Wellingborough. This is the hotel where Cromwell is reported to have planned the battle of Naseby. We started the evening in the Cromwell Suite, with its oak panels containing hundreds of years of history and memories. This room houses the famous priest hole used for hiding religious persons away during times of persecution.
Base readings were taken with the EMF meter, which had a general background reading of .2 a usual reading apart from spikes near to electrical equipment and wiring. The room temperature was 21 degree's although throughout the night various cold spots were found, some dropping to around 13 degree's which is unusual in the same room.
We were testing out some new equipment, a wireless infra red camera that recorded continuously, this was set up overlooking the table where the main group worked.
We then began our first seance.
1st spirit said his name was Charles but only gave us the initials CM to start with. He said there were 5/7 others with us.
Then we had the initials ELS, thought that might be Elizabeth but very wary of communicating. James came through at this point, told us he passed at 86yrs in 1475. Asked who was on the throne he said Henry V1, (this would be correct for his lifetime but Henry died in 1471). He said he was a monk in the Abbey.
The 3rd spirit to come through was not going to tell us who he was, kept moving the glass to 666, asked if he was into devil worship he didn’t answer but asked if he was a Satanist he said yes. He moved the glass to spell out KSW, 4834, GLC, ELY 8, DIE & PASTL. He also agreed that he knew Gloria from an earlier event 4 yrs ago. He then went quiet.
At one point we had an inexplicable sudden spike in EMF readings, suddenly and momentarily going off the scale. We had a similar experience at our confidential location late last year. The earlier base readings showed normal radiation in that location, so we cannot explain this sudden spike.
At this point Bessie came through; suspect she was Elizabeth from earlier. She said she was 63 when she passed in 1856, wife of the above gentleman who was named Henry and the mother of Alysha who passed at the age of 5 in 1828. Henry had assaulted Bessie trying to kill her and caused a neck injury which left her totally paralysed and in a bath-chair. He also abused Alysha. We were told he was the owner of the workhouse and a wealthy man with some standing in the town. She said Henry passed before her with natural causes in 1845; she also died of natural causes. We asked if she was looking for Alysha and wanted our help to go to her, she said yes so we helped her to go over into the light. Alysha and her Nan came to greet her and take her with them. On a personal note for myself, as we passed Alysha to the light, I felt myself being pushed in the bottom of the back and shortly afterwards felt the sensation of something passing through my body from front to back, it felt like a magnetic pull, which is the best way I can describe it. This is the first time I have ever felt this sensation at one of our meets.
We then closed in this room and went into the function room where photo’s were taken, and moved on into the restaurant.

Here we met a young man called Victor who said he passed in 1957 aged 15yrs old. He drowned in the paddling pool at the zoo, which was at the bottom of Sheep Street. Said he lived on the Kingsway Estate, which is close by.
We then had a little girl called Emma through; various people have seen a young girl in this area. She said she passed in 1657 at the age of 3yrs old of TB, which she contracted when she was 2yrs old. We couldn't get a lot from this child probably due to her age, but I believe there is a noise anomaly on the EVP whilst we were talking to her. Hind Hotel
