Northamptonshire visit 21st November 2007
During the evening of the 21st November 2007 we undertook a visit to a large property in Northamptonshire. The location of this visit is however confidential.

Outside temperature 3.7 degrees
Inside temperature in the main hall 6.3 degrees
An initial walk around was done to ascertain base EMF readings. Throughout the main hall a base reading was collected at a steady .2 This is completely normal for background radiation. There were peaks around the electrical unit near to one of the main doors to the hall, but this is only to be expected.
An initial séance was conducted in the main hall with all group members taking part. It was established that there were 4 spirits frequenting the hall. Most of these were weak in nature. The sensitive people in the group felt that one of these spirits was much stronger and they had a bad feeling about this one in particular.
This strong spirit then stayed in the forefront of activity at all time and seemed to quite enjoy playing with the group. For some reason they were reluctant to cooperate and give us any information that made any sense via the board.
The group then broke into two smaller groups, one going down to the lower floor area whilst the other group stayed in the main hall. On two occasions in the hall during séances, small objects were heard to scatter on the floor, as if thrown. These only sounded very small in nature and it was not ascertained what they were. At this time were working in night vision, with no background light on whatsoever, as better results are gained this way.
One inexplicable thing happened in the main hall during this session. I myself was holding the EMF meter, and was in the middle of the hall well away from any background radiation sources when the EMF meter went completely off the scale. I was not moving, yet the reading went haywire for about 5 seconds, going up and down from maximum to nothing. This is most unusual and cannot be explained at this time. It is said that paranormal activity can cause such readings, but in the absence of any further information or evidence we have to remain open minded about this one. Even though, it was a first for us.
Throughout the night, members reported seeing shadows moving near the doorway to the main hall. Whilst this could be classed as paranormal, it could also be the eyes playing tricks in the darkness, so again we must remain open minded about this.
The most significant part of the evening was when one of the male members of the group was with another in the main hall when he was suddenly flung backwards with force a distance of about 10ft. He ended up on the floor. Afterwards as you can imagine he was a rather pale shade of white and still shaking. He described it as sensing that something was rushing up towards him and then just like being run over by a van and knocked backwards. The other group member present with him at the time can confirm that he was suddenly with force flung backwards. I can offer no other explanation at this time other than some sort of paranormal activity.
Conclusion
We can conclude that there is paranormal activity especially in the main hall. This activity is nothing to be concerned about as you need to actively encourage the activity before anything occurs. It was a shame that we could not glean anything more specific such as names or dates, but the one strong contact that we had was not forthcoming with any meaningful information.
